URBAN GEOMETRY
The cityscapes of Brooklyn and Queens are the inspiration for this series of paintings. Off-the-beaten-track places are of great interest to me: empty train yards, power plants, Coney Island in the wintertime. I am particularly drawn to the geometry of buildings and often simplify their appearance to emphasis this beauty.
